Which medication should I stop using before a surgical intervention?

You will be admitted the same day of the surgery, at least one hour before.
When will I be able to go home after the surgery?
Depending on the complexity and duration of the surgical intervention, you could go home the same day (half-stay) or stay for one night (complete-stay), going home next day.
Can I use makeup or nail polish during the surgery?
It is not advisable, because the sensors would be altered and not able to capture correctly the blood oxygen level.
Can I use contact lenses during the surgery?
It is not advisable, they may damage your eyes.
Which medication should I take after surgery?
Dr. Joaquín Pérez-Guisado Rosa, as a general rule, will prescribe an antibiotic, an anti-inflammatory and analgesics. He will explain you how to take them after surgery. You should bring this medication the same day of the surgical intervention to begin with the treatment just after being discharged.
