Which is the best time of the year to undergo a liposuction?
We recommend you to undergo a liposuction in mild seasons, because the adjusted garments you must wear after surgery will make you feel hot. Furthermore, hot temperatures facilitate sweating, increasing the risk of infection and wound dehiscence and reducing the quality of healing. This applies to all surgical interventions.
Is liposuction painful?

Is cellulite removed with liposuction?

Liposuction is a very safe surgery and, generally, no complications occur. Immediately, haematoma or infection of the operated areas may occur. But a seroma (pocket of clear serous fluid) may appear long-term. These complications will be solved with antibiotics, the usage of compression garments and the gradual recovery of the activity.
How are the scars after liposuction?

When can I sunbathe after liposuction?
You must use solar protection in the small scars produced by the introduction of the cannulas for a year after surgery, in order to avoid the pigmentation of the scar.
